It's almost BBall season

I can't believe it's almost November and that means the beginning of the new NBA season. That means I have to make my mind up on some season predictions. I'll do that later in the week when I'm not so busy.

But I am so excited. And its getting close to holiday season, which is exciting two. I'm just in a good mood as of late.

Oh and the NFL season is almost half way over. That is hard to believe, it seems like opening kickoff was just a week ago. There haven't been too many surprises so far this season, except for maybe Tom Brady on his way to breaking Peyton Mannings Pass touchdown record, that he only broke three seasons ago. After seven games, Brady has an astonishing 27 touchdown passes and only 2 interceptions.

Those stats are just out of this world. I'm pretty sure it makes it a lot easier when you run 5-wide formations every down too, and you have the likes of Randy Moss and Daunte Stallworth on your team. Anyways, I picked the Patriots to go to the super bowl (unfortunately) and still feel good back that pick, except they won't being playing the Eagles, and they will win (unfortunately).

There was a record broken this past week. Tennessee Titans Kicker made 8 field goals, going a perfect 8/8 as the Titans barely hold on to beat the Texans. The previous record was 7 held by four different kickers. Eight field goals is really a sign of poor offense finishing off a drive, but that is understandable when Kerry Collins is the QB.

OH yeah I almost forgot!

RED SOX!

That's what I'm talking about. Red Sox evidently don't believe in being on the cusp of elimination. Trailing 3-1, the Sox outscored the Indians 30-5 in the last three games of the season. For the second time in four seasons will be going to the World Series after trailing 3-0 (to the Yankees in 2004) and 3-1 (to the Indians) in the ALCS.

They now face the hottest team out of the National League in the Colorado Rockies, who enter the World Series having won 21 of 22 games. I'm looking for another long series for the Red Sox and come out on top in game seven to win their second World Championship in four seasons.

That's all for now, I'll be back with the NBA/College Basketball Preview later.
