Hello gents and sports fans,
Lets talk some NBA draft.
I'm going to get right to the point.
The Portland Trailblazers had the best draft out of any team last night. Not just because of fututre superstar center Greg Oden, but they filled their needs. They are a very young team and have a very positive upside in the near future. They also stole a couple of very good college players in Josh McRoberts and Taurean Green. I'm not a fan of McRoberts, but from the word around the bend Josh and Greg are very fond of each other. McRoberts looks to pass first and get other teammates involved, so I don't think he will have any problems dishing out to Greg Oden. Green won two national championships at Florida and was used to playing with big men. They also got Steve Francis and Channing Frye from New York in a trade. I think Portland will be back in the playoffs in the next couple years.
Disappointment of the night was when the Bobcats traded away Brandon Wright to Golden State for Jason Richardson. JRich is old and only thinks about himself and won't suit well in the Bobcats game plans. He was well suited for The Don and the run and gun offense. Wright will be a very good player in a few years once he gains some weight.
I also like what Seattle did in acquiring Jeff Green for Ray Allen. I think Kevin Durant and Jeff Green can be a very good tandem along with Rashard Lewis, if they resign him this summer.
Overall the draft was pretty normal. There were a few shocking trades, but none of the big name trades that had been talked about prior to the draft. Let's wait and see what happens the rest of the off season and see how many more changes, if any, happen.
In other news Shaq's show that airs on ABC, seems like it is going to be a great show and Shaq is doing a very good thing trying to help these kids fight obesity. Maybe he can encourage more kids around the world to get out and be active and be more aware of what they eat.
That's all for now.

The Finals
I don't even want to talk about it. The guy is 22 years old in the Finals by single handed beating the Detroit Pistons.
The Spurs are just playing ridiculous basketball on both sides of the ball, especially defense.
But I don't give up hope, I think Lebron will turn things around and use the city excitement and turn this series around.
I love summer!
